Autism Service Provider “Agents”

On my long flights from LA to Vietnam, I had the chance to read up on the history of AI, especially intelligent agents—systems that process inputs and act to influence their environment.
Walking the streets here, I couldn’t help but see a real-world system of agents in action. Amid honking horns, scooters, cars, and pedestrians, everyone processes countless sensory inputs to navigate the chaos in what feels like perfect harmony. Even as a veteran of LA traffic, I find it remarkable!
This made me reflect on systems in the Autism service provider space. I see three key "agents" at play:
1️⃣ ABA therapy for clients—the core service.
2️⃣ Support for therapists—pay, rewards, and recognition for positive actions, like avoiding cancellations and improving outcomes.
3️⃣ Operational models—driving better hiring, retention, and revenue cycles to sustain everything else.
When these "agents" align, much like the streets of Vietnam, incredible outcomes are possible (including safe passage to one's destination)
